Faith with Good Works

Prayer

Heals Builds Works

All of what we do according to the Will of the Father is good works. We can only do this because of His GOOD Spirit within us. Jesus said only God is Good! This Spirit grows through faith, true and trust and all of this comes through praying.

Doing works is good, without working nothing gets done; things will just be! To work is to grow. Can you imagine being a child forever and not growing at all in the human capacity?

But what is the paradox between the two; being a child and remaining a child?
Working causes improvement which in turn is blessings and the more you hope unto good works the more you see the favour of God upon your life, the more rewards are received. To have faith is good and to translate this into what works you do is good. Good works is getting something done that pleases the Father put a smile of gratitude on the face and in the heart of someone in need. Heaping coal on the head of your enemy that will change their story.

Ps 92:4-6 For You, O LORD, have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands. How great are Your works, O LORD, how deep are Your thoughts! A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand,…

Be assured; you were born and recreated for a purpose, a purpose that only you with the help of the Holy Spirit will discover. There is a treasure in life to find, Father God has got you covered and you will find it if you search for Him, He will show you great and wonderful things about your future.

To seek Him, you must pray. This is the language He answers to and when we pray, we enjoy God and the goodness He as a Father promises to give.. Jesus emphasized His Father’s willingness to give good gifts to His children by comparing Him to earthly parents who know how to give good gifts to their children. He added, “. . . how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” (Matt. 7:11). When we pray, God gives us “good gifts.”

The “good gifts” are spiritual blessings of; grace, wisdom, joy, peace, power, and holiness. These are the gifts that are given to the children of God.

To be in the Closet is freedom from the guilt of sin. we gain freedom from the power of sin, the death that has power to harm and hinder us in the midst of our daily lives. Jesus taught his disciples to watch and pray lest they fall into temptation. The spirit is willing to pray and is strengthened by prayers. It is the flesh that is weak and is subject to temptation creeping in like slumbering sleep. (Matt. 26:41).

Prayers are mountain movers and if mountains can be moved by the very essence of praying then, prayer is the force that is omnipotent and we know God is omnipotent as well as omnipresence. It can change hearts of kings and shape the lives of families. It creates destinies and it is the way maker building highways. It can transform neighborhoods and throw down nations. It is the pathway to eternal life. It’s the ultimate source and the voice of power. It is the power of Almighty God.

Here this… The Father sent His “begotten” Son who has taken back up His position in the Heavenly realm, working from His throne on high in union of building The Kingdom of God with the Christ redeemed believing saints here on earth. “So shall it be in Heaven as it is on Earth”. Prayers are the connecting cord. We ask, (and we know whatever we ask, in His name, He hears us). He acts, and the work gets done—great works and greater works shall we do; to the glory of God the Father.

The more we pray the more joy we increase. This is a spiritual phenomenon for as God is a Spirit and live within, we are carriers of His presence.

We are encouraged to pray to the Lord for the peace and prosperity of the city to which you are in because if it prospers, you too will prosper” (Jer. 29:7). Sometimes it feels as if there is nothing we can do to change our world. But God reminds us that we can make a difference in our cities and in our Nations if we devote ourselves to prayer. If we honour God and others with our prayers, we should also be able to “live peaceful and quiet lives.” Believers are urged to make “petition prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for everybody, including those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (1 Tim. 2:1–2). Remember always to be thankful!

The Grace of God shapes society through the prayers of His people. By order of holiness and prevailing our intercessory prayers release grace, foster peace, restrain evil, protect innocent people, avert disasters, enforce justice, and increase harvests. Prayers humble the spirit of the man; innocently like a child.

Hallelujah! We can do greater works! What an amazing and gracious gift, this gift of prayer. With this one gift, God makes it possible for us to find joy, win over sin, gain spiritual riches, unlock storehouses of grace for others, do great works, transform society, and defeat the devil! Because of prayer, God places the gifts and powers of heaven at our disposal.

What an awesome privilege for the believers and followers of Christ. What a huge responsibility! Prayer is our supreme weapon; it is our Master Key to defeat all our enemies. By prayers, we foil the attacks. It is the mantel like a shield, when we speak out – the Spirit of God is issued out like the opening of the 'floodgate'. The tricks of the enemy are uncovered and smashed to pieces, all his schemes are rendered useless. By prayers, we assault the devil’s strongholds.

Real prayer is Satan’s undoing. “There is nothing the devil dreads more than prayers. His greatest concern is to keep us from praying, he trembles when we pray” because prayers move the hand of God.” It’s what God does in response to our prayers that make the devil tremble. Start praying and don’t stop praying. Pray without ceasing!.
