Knowledge Understanding Wisdom Christ

Grace is a dispensation of the time of the age, in which we are offered this gift of favour from God through the righteousness of Jesus Christ that mankind may be saved from sin through the redemption of the cross unto salvation. Grace is the unmerited favour from God, through Jesus Christ. None of the gifts that are offered freely to man here on earth, can be brought for a price, other than through submission and acceptance of this free will offering to His Will of salvation by His blood and death on the cross and resurrection from death unto everlasting life.

Psalms 51 must be one of the most compassionate of scriptures towards grace that I can come to understand. David created a problem for himself, he fell from grace because he had sinned and the only way he was redeemed from his fallen state was because he repented quickly with a truly broken and contrited heart. David wanted to be cleansed from his evil ways, he acknowledged his transgressions; he said, his sins were "ever before him"

David sinned and broke three of the most sacred and fundamental Laws of God, he knowingly sinned and ended up killing a man, Uriah a soldier, robbing him of his life and family just so that he could cover his adulterous behavior. David fell from grace; God had to send Nathan the prophet to confront him. This haunted David until he became sick, his sin would not go away until he confessed. He had no city of refuge to run to, for he had wilfully sinned, he was anointed king unto God by the High Priest so no one can could lay their hands on him. He became a debtor to God. David knew what real confession of sin meant - the word 'confess' means 'to say the same thing' that God says about sin "if we say the same thing about our sins that God says about them, then He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteouseness" - hence he said in [v 4] "Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest" David was simply acknowledging that what God has said in His Word is true. Verse 10 "“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me"”. Only God’'s grace can renew a man’'s heart, only His grace can turn him around for goodness and for righteousness sake. It is that Divine influence which operates in us humans to regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength; to endure trials and resist temptations.

The book of Romans in Chapter 6 make these expressions, as the book introduces us to God's awesome loving grace, and Paul goes on to exhort about this unmerited favour to them that have come to the knowledge of the promise, we see the promised been fulfilled unto us today who believe, and come to the Throne of mercy and grace. As 4 Ezra.1 prophesied in verse …”[37] "I take to witness the grace of the people to come, whose little ones rejoice in gladness: and though they have not seen me with bodily eyes, yet in spirit they believe the thing that I say". speaking of the time when He Jesus himself would come with the good news of redemption and salvation to set the capitive free as He declared in the Book of Isaiah.

Grace brings peace through faith and is full of goodness and it’s delight is in mercy, equity and righteousness, where sin and death no longer have dominon over you.

Rom.6 [v 1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [v 2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Verse [14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. [v 15] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. [v 16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? [v 18]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. [v 19] I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. [v 20] For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. [v 21] What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. [22] But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. [23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you find grace you have found favour. Throughout the scriptures you will find that anyone who has ever found grace was because the favour of the Lord was upon them. You are not just favoured because you deserve it, grace comes because your heart and your ways are reserved to do good. You have grace because God see that good, therefore favour is with you. Gen.6 [v 8] Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. When Joseph found grace in Potiphar eyes, an officer of Pharaoh's guards who he serves - Gen.39 [v 4] he made him overseer over his entire household and possessions.

There is a law that follows with grace, 'where sin abound grace abound more'. Grace deals kindly and is just, it is submissive and it is patient and with this prudent it added. God speaks through grace and He says… “I forgive you; just as if you have never sinned. Come, come and see how I loved you with a never ending love. I have always loved you!” The question is asked above by Paul when he was exhorting to the Romans, "should we continue in sin?" Not if you really understand what sin is or what real forgiveness is and the cost of salvation through the blood of Jeus Christ!

Grace opens the pathway to truth, it seeks the ways of God, like Moses said in Exod.33 [v 13] Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight. [v 16] For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. [v 17] And the LORD said unto Moses, “"I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name"”.

Grace set apart that which is good it keeps a watchful eye to protect the ways and lead the righteous into the right and narrow path to light. Grace is found of them who are diligent and hard working in doing good; blessing of prosperity will follow you when the favour of grace is upon you. Ruth the moabitess found favour when she went to glean corn in the field of Boaz. (You can read story in the book of Ruth).

You are saved by grace and have inherited a birthright through grace in which you are sanctified. The true grace of God wherein ye stand is His eternal glory through Christ Jesus, for by grace you are saved through faith; it is the unmerited gift from God: Grace is the desire to be good, kind and to do right; it is God's power and strength which helps our ability to do His Will.

No good thing will be withheld from those that walk upright, for the LORD God will give grace and glory, for He is your sun and shield and as for the lowly he is found with favour for the grace is his beauty.

In Prov.22 [v 11] it is stated, “He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend”. Out of the abundance of your treasures thy lips will speak truth with simplicity that will delights dignitaries and she (wisdom) Prov.4 shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

Grace is Love Divine, for as Jesus grew and waxed strong in the Spirit Luke.2, he was filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon him. "Yes, in all the fullness was the grace and truth with him".

2Thes.2 [v 16] Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.

2Tim.1 [v 9] Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

1Pet.1 [v 2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. [v 10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: [v 13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 1Pet.5 [v 10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

"Grace is the empowering Presence of God enabling you to be who He created you to be, and to do what He has called you to do." Grace say's, “I forgive you for all that you have done against me, go and sin no more, less a worse thin should happen to you”. , Since all persons are by nature spiritually dead no one desires to accept this grace until God spiritually regenerate them by, calling or inviting them, first through faith by the washing of the word through hearing, and secondly by the Holy Spirit tenderly drawing you to His grace for God recreate only those whom are willing and whom He has predestined to salvation.

Grace is given by God based on the faith of the believer as a gift. Ephesians 2:8; "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God". God gift of grace brings delight, joy, happiness, and good fortune.

"Grace is all about the love of God given to man without them having to earn any merits for it. It is the unmerited favour of God unto salvation". It is summed up in Jude.1 [v 21], this way… Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life”.
