Experiencing Joy

What glorious love of the Lord God our King. What joy He must have felt when the victory was won. Did He know that He would win? Is it foretold the Joy He would share with His Son when he arrived at Heaven’s Gate, with the prize of Eternal Victory over the death?

The joy was revealed when the Holy Spirit revealed to one of His Apostle in 1Pet.4:13 “But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

God knew His Son was a winner – He said in a certain place…”this is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased!” Even the constellations of the morning stars sang together with joy, “having strength you are comforted by Joy”.

From the foundation of the world, Jesus brought Joy to His Father God. From the creation of man, God wanted to share His Joy with mankind. In Proverbs 23:24, it is said by a wise counsellor …” The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him”.

The Lord God gave Moses commandments to govern His people and the good they would inherit if they obeyed and the bad that would come upon them if they disobeyed and strayed from them.

He wanted to set His Chosen People on high and above all the nations of the earth, if they would only hearken diligently to His Voice.

The generations of offspring have learned that their forefathers did not obey and all that which was predicted against them happened according to that which was prophesied by Moses in (Deut.28:47) “Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things”.

So the children hanged their harps upon the willows in the midst thereof, and the Psalmist said… “Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Restore unto me the Joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips”.(Psalm 51:8).

Then will the Psalmist’s voice be filled with contentment… “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

It is written in 1Chr.29:9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

“I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee”.

Let the earth sing, and the clouds of the air be flung away, turn ye into the ethers of fine mists shower down with blessings of light, (the Psalmist clung to these words and said)…Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

How great will that day be when the Great Trump shall sound, when the heavenly Groom appears for His Bride. There will be a jubilant noise when heaven and earth unite with such a glorious oneness. So great a noise that the people shall not be able to discern between the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people will shout with a loud shout, and the noise will be heard afar off.

We shall eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and the portions shall equal the same prepared for all His faithful. This day is holy unto our Lord: neither will there be sorrow anymore; for the Joy of the LORD is your strength. We hear the echoing voice from Psalms 5:11. “Let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy Name be joyful in Thee”.

“Therefore will I offer in His Tabernacle sacrifices of Joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.” (KJV ) Joy springs forth like the cascading waters over the mountains for your weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

The upright will praise You and be glad in You, they shall rejoice and shout for joy, because they have the Joy of the Lord.

Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of Thy Countenance. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Come now; let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our Salvation. Let us come before His Presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.

"Oh, creation that waits, that groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Rejoice now, for He that you wait upon has come. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, rejoice, and sing praises. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together".

He brought forth His people with joy, and His Chosen with gladness: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of Joy; at Thy Right Hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Let Thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Thy saints shout for joy. I will also clothe her priests with Salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Rightfully Isaiah also foresaw the joy of the Kings people in the City and Kingdom of Peace.

Isa.12:3 “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of Salvation.” The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Isa.44:23 – Yeah, there shall be rest even for the earth and the mountains, it shall ceaseth from seeing the slain. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Isa.55:12 For ye shall go out with Joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Isa.56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon Mine altar; for Mine house shall be called an House of Prayer for all People. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Surely I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Jeremiah was anointed to speak…31:13 “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

Jesus reminded John in Chapter 15:11 these words that Jesus spoke at the time … These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. So, therefore, my brethrens dearly beloved, and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.
